Phil Hunter is a amateur photographer based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. and has had a passion for photography since his late teens when he purchased a Canon AE1, by saving a small amount from the wages of his first job. He now uses state of the art Canon Digital SLR's and L series lenses.

Family is very important to me.
I'm a Foster carer along with my wife and we foster children with social and emotional difficulties.
I've have had a passion for photography since my teenage years.
I was born in Peterlee in the North East but moved to Leeds when I was only 3.
My interests are, Family, Photography, Walking and playing the guitar (only learning).
The journey from those early days have been most enjoyable and enlightening, learning something new almost everyday. An open mind and a willingness to learn are key to producing high quality images that invoke an emotion.
My main area of interest lies in Landscape Photography and my geographical location means I am within easy reach of four of the Uk's National Parks:
The Yorkshire Dales, The Lake District, The North York Moors and The Peak District.
Prior to digital I was constantly disgruntled with the quality of prints from photo labs. Thanks to digital and advances in technology we the photographer now have total control from capture to print, but sadly if you are like myself the print seems to have been replaced with the slide show. Therefore this website seemed to be the logical step to showcase my work to a wider audience, and whilst prints can be purchased it is your thoughts and comment that are of greater value, please find the time to leave a simple comment using the contact page.
May I thank you for viewing and browsing my portfolio, and I hope you enjoy your time here.
